We are on the lookout for a seasoned QA/Software Tester to join our dynamic team and elevate our products to new heights.

What we're looking for

Skills & competencies

  • Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, and familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is preferred.
What you'll do

Roles & responsibilities

  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Execute various types of tests, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects or issues in the software and work with developers to resolve them.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts if using automation tools, and integrate these into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Review and analyze requirements and design documents to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and constraints, and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
  • Provide detailed reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality of the software.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall product quality.
  • Ensure that the software meets user expectations and provides a good user experience.
Requirements

Experience & qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-5 years of experience in software testing, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience working with a software or technology company will be an added advantage.
