Objectives
Are you passionate about creating flawlessly functional, visually engaging digital products such as apps, websites, and software products? Are you excited about and committed to creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences that engage and delight users? We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with a strong background in user interface design, user experience principles, and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing software products and designs to join our team.
Skills & competencies
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and how to apply them in design.
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard design.
Roles & responsibilities
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes and final visual designs for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into user-centric designs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Analyse user feedback and activity to iterate and improve the user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Ensure designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and design system.
- Advocate for best practices in user interface and user experience design.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
- Present and defend design decisions to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers as needed.
- Participate in Crown Interactive's learning, development and mentoring programs.
Experience & qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 4-5 years' hands-on experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Experience working with a software or technology company will be an added advantage.
