Omamofe “Mofe” Boyo is the Chairman of Crown Interactive and the Co-Founder and Deputy Group Chief Executive of Oando PLC, a leading integrated energy company in sub-Saharan Africa. A graduate of King's College London with an LLB, Mofe began his career in commercial law at Chief Rotimi Williams’ Chambers before co-founding Ocean and Oil Group in 1994, which later evolved into Oando PLC. He has been instrumental in shaping Oande's trajectory into a major player in Africa's energy landscape through visionary leadership and strategic execution.
Mofe has led some of the most significant energy transactions in Nigeria’s history, including Oando’s $1.5 billion acquisition of ConocoPhillips Nigeria in 2014, which repositioned the company as Nigeria's largest indigenous oil producer at the time. More recently, in 2024, he oversaw the landmark $783 million acquisition of Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) from Eni, a deal that significantly increased Oando's participating interests in key onshore assets, expanded its infrastructure footprint, and nearly doubled its oil and gas reserves to over 1 billion barrels of oil equivalent. As Chairman of Crown Interactive, Mofe brings a wealth of governance, commercial, and operational expertise to the company. His experience across large-scale mergers, infrastructure development, and strategic growth in highly regulated industries provides invaluable oversight as Crown Interactive scales its digital solutions across Africa’s public and private sectors.
Wumi Oghoetuoma is the Founder and Managing Director of Crown Interactive, a Nigerian software company driving digital transformation across public and private sectors in Africa. A graduate of Computer Science from Kingston University, UK, Wumi founded the company in 2005 with the vision to build enterprise-grade technology solutions tailored to the African market. Prior to founding Crown Interactive, he worked as a technology consultant in the UK, supporting telecoms and utility clients in the design and deployment of complex workflow automation systems.
Under his leadership, Crown Interactive has grown into a leading provider of digital platforms for process automation, customer management, billing, and enterprise communication. Wumi has championed the development of locally owned and governed digital infrastructure that supports government digitalisation efforts, utility service transformation, and MSME empowerment across the continent. His strategic approach combines deep technical insight with strong commercial execution, making him a respected voice in Africa’s digital ecosystem. As Managing Director, he continues to lead the company’s vision for sovereign digitalisation, working closely with government stakeholders, development partners, and private institutions to enable inclusive, technology-driven growth. His leadership has positioned Crown Interactive as a trusted partner in national digital transformation initiatives, including large-scale public sector implementations across Nigeria and East Africa.
Mika Alanko is the Co-Founder and a Non-Executive Director of Crown Interactive, where he has played a pivotal role since the company’s inception in 2010. With a focus on product management, customer engagement, and revenue assurance, Mika has been instrumental in shaping Crown Interactive's strategic vision and core platform architecture ensuring that its digital solutions meet the complex operational needs of clients across Africa’s public and private sectors.
He holds an MSc in Investment Management from Henley Business School, University of Reading, and a BSc in Economics, Mathematics & Statistics from Queen Mary, University of London. Mika is also a TM Forum-certified Revenue Assurance Practitioner, bringing specialized expertise in designing and implementing systems that safeguard revenue and optimize business processes in telecoms, utilities, and enterprise environments.
As Co-Founder, Mika continues to provide strategic oversight and product-driven insight that reinforce Crown Interactive's mission of delivering locally relevant, enterprise-grade digital infrastructure. His blend of financial acumen and technical leadership supports the company’s growth as a trusted partner in Africa's digital transformation journey
Daniel Acton brings extensive global experience as a technology and commercial executive, with a strong track record across both startup and corporate environments. He has held senior roles at leading organizations—including PwC, IBM, Virgin Mobile USA, GE, Corning, Lockheed Martin, and ACS, where he led business development, program management, and technology innovation for major telecom and IT systems clients like AT&T, Sprint, and Maxis.
A retired Naval officer, Daniel specialized in network information, technology, and intelligence systems and has worked across more than 50 countries, giving him a unique blend of technical depth, operational discipline, and international strategic insight. He has applied this expertise hands-on from establishing processes at startups to driving initiatives in large-scale public sector technology organizations.
As a Director at Crown Interactive, where he has served since 2011, Daniel contributes invaluable leadership in technology strategy, international expansion, and governance. His global perspective and field-tested experience in complex IT and telecom implementations reinforce the Board's capabilities to guide Crown Interactive's business scaling and innovation across diverse markets.
Mr Oyewole has handled numerous Mergers & Acquisitions, and financing transactions for various clients with individual transaction sizes of over US$3 billion. Mr Tunde Oyewole has handled the legal affairs in Nigeria of major multinational corporate clients including BAT, DHL, Halliburton, Lagos State Government, Samsung, Trafigura, Arcadia & Oando.
Mr Oyewole brings on board a clear understanding of the legal framework and financing business in Nigeria. Mr Oyewole has handled numerous Mergers & Acquisitions, and financing transactions for various clients with individual transaction sizes of over US$3 billion. Omoboyede “Boye” Olusanya is the Group Managing Director and CEO of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc and a Director on the Board of Crown Interactive.** With over 30 years of cross-industry experience, Boye has held leadership roles across engineering, telecommunications, investment, and the FMCG sectors. Prior to joining FMN, he was CEO of Qmobile, Chief Transformation Officer at Dangote Industries, and Operating Partner at Helios Investment Partners. He brings a strong track record in corporate transformation, operational excellence, and strategic growth.
Boye holds degrees in Civil Engineering, Environmental Civil Engineering, and Computer Science, and has completed executive programs at Harvard, London, and Lagos Business Schools. His professional affiliations include the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Institute of Directors. He currently also serves as Chairman of Axxela Limited and 2nd Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). As a Director at Crown Interactive, Boye provides strategic guidance and governance oversight, drawing on his extensive experience in technology-driven transformation and enterprise growth across Africa.
Gloria Onafeko, FCA, is a highly accomplished corporate strategist, governance advisor, and finance executive with deep expertise in business restructuring and value creation. She currently heads Numero Associates, a boutique consulting firm supporting executive-level strategy execution, performance optimization, and risk management. Previously, she has held senior finance positions including Executive Finance Director at Gaslink Nigeria and Chief Finance Officer, Treasurer, and Financial Controller at Ocean and Oil Services Ltd.
A former strategy consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and auditor at Akintola Williams & Co. (Deloitte), Gloria brings decades of hands-on experience implementing robust governance frameworks, financial controls, and operational improvements across industries. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Jos. As a Non-Executive Director at Crown Interactive, Gloria provides high-level oversight in financial governance, strategy alignment, and risk management. Her commercial acumen and change-management expertise strengthen the Board's capability to guide sustainable growth and operational excellence in digital platforms and enterprise-scale implementations.
Afam Edozie is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and business strategist with over two decades of experience leading high-growth companies across telecoms, technology, and consumer sectors. He began his career in brand management at Procter & Gamble before holding senior marketing roles at Motorola and Virgin Media. As Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at MTN Nigeria, he provided leadership that helped scale the business from a startup to a multibillion-dollar enterprise—growing to over $3 billion in annual revenue and more than 2,000 employees within just five years.
In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Afam is the founder of FiCres Capital, a private equity and venture development firm focused on investing in scalable consumer and technology-driven ventures in Nigeria. He has served as Chairman of Courteville Business Solutions Plc, a listed fintech company, and as a Non-Executive Director at Swift Networks. His expertise spans growth strategy, customer acquisition, market entry, and capital raising—especially within emerging markets. As a Non-Executive Director at Crown Interactive, Afam provides governance oversight and strategic input grounded in deep operational experience. His leadership continues to support Crown Interactive's mission to scale transformative digital platforms across Africa and drive sustainable impact across both the public and private sectors.
Caroline Mbugua, HSC, is a highly regarded leader in the ICT, telecom policy, and governance space, bringing over a decade of industry expertise. Before her current role at GSMA, she served as Policy & Stakeholder Relations Lead at Safaricom PLC, where she was instrumental in driving regulatory advocacy, engaging public institutions, and shaping the company's external relations in Kenya's competitive telecom sector. In her current capacity as Senior Policy Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa at GSMA, Caroline leads engagement on universal service funds, spectrum policy, digital inclusion, and regulatory frameworks. Her broad experience bridging private sector, government and multilateral institutions gives her critical insight into the intersection of technology deployment, public policy, and sustainable business models. On the Crown Interactive board, Caroline contributes a valuable voice on regulatory strategy, stakeholder relationships, and ensuring our solutions are aligned with national digital agendas. Her unique perspective strengthens our ability to navigate policy environments across East Africa while advancing inclusive and ethically grounded technology growth.
